A few years back my wife and I set out one Saturday morning for about six weeks of “Finding America.” We left Philadelphia and headed to Pittsburgh – and kept driving. We had our guide books with us and picked two, or three or four places we wanted to visit at each destination, which we usually identified one day at a time.  I collected about 1,700 images. Gallery 1 contains some of my favorite places (or shots) from Pittsburgh to Deadwood, South Dakota (the first 2,000 miles).
